During this monthly yoga for wellness class we will explore postures and sequences to help you stretch and open your body and mind in a gentle supportive way. Connecting with the healing power of the breath to increase prana and induce relaxation, we will dive deeply into relaxation of the mind and the body to enable you to land in a place of deeper harmony within.
This class is specifically designed for people seeking an extremely gentle yoga class with a deep focus on relaxation. All postures and breathwork will be completed either sitting or lying on the earth, to conserve energy and promote rejuvenation of body, mind and spirit.
This yoga for wellness class aims to promote and empower participants to use simple movements, tools and techniques which have lasting benefits for body and mind. Building a ‘toolbox’ of techniques to support our wellbeing can have a huge impact on how we approach and experience wellness in our daily life.
During this class we will combine DRU & Restorative yoga and breathwork to:
Gently stretch and strengthen the body in a supportive way
Activate the para sympathetic nervous system to induce relaxation
Work with the power of the breath, to revitalise and restore your being
Focus on the lymphatic system to promote detoxification
Still the mind to relief stress and inner chatter
The class is suitable for everyone, especially people who experience reduced energy levels, chronic illness, or anyone would like to experience a gentle, nurturing class to help you deeply relax your body, mind and spirit. Places in this class will be limited to 8 people, and must be pre-booked / pre-paid.
